If you want carp with character in abundance, this is your spot. Farlows venue is a true specimen fishery with a rich quantity of natural food that has been the home of carp, for well over 40 years. A massively talked about lake, with an even bigger history, definitely worth a visit!

Linear Fisheries - Oxford

If we ever head over to Scotland, best believe we’re taking a trip to this magical place!

Stickney Brick Pit - Boston

Current lake record: 51lb 8oz

Highly recommended by our very own Team Member Rob Gainer, is Stickney Brick Pit, in Boston. The ‘gnarly’ lake offers many features such as: shallow plateaus, sudden drop offs and depths of over 30ft. Rob says: ‘100% my favourite water in the U.K.’. The lake is especially advised for experienced anglers, and is like a ‘playground’ for them!

Trent View Carp Fishery- Nottingham

Another great recommendation from one of our trusty Team Members; Paul Holt. Trent view is a 28 acre mature gravel pit situated in the village of Hoveringham. The lake is home to over 2000 carp, including 35 topping 35lb plus. With outstanding security and facilities, this lake is a MUST GO!

Sandhurst Lake - Yately

This is accordingly a lake for the advanced angler, as it’s one of the ‘‘most challenging’ of the Anglers Paradise Lakes, but if you’re prone to spending a few nights in the bivvy and don’t mind the odd blank whilst waiting for the big reward then this lake’s well worth it!

Holme Fen - Cambridgeshire

If you want your PB to be ‘regularly broken’, Holme Fen is the place to go! This unique fishery is designed as a specimen carp fishery, and is a whopping 26 acres in size! Holme Fen is frequently recommended by anglers around the country, and even by our own consultant, Chris Skelton!

Consisting of two lakes, Ladywood has depths around 22ft as well as bars, gullies and weed beds. According to the official LadyWood website, “the two are The Big Lake, which is a 10-acre gravel pit, and a shallower Back Bay Lake.” We have no doubt that these lakes are a MUST SEE!
